Jasprit Singh came into existence in 1993 on 6th December. When it comes to his childhood times, his suffering started at the age of 5 as he lost his father and his mother was compelled to take all the responsibilities. The famous Indian cricketer Bumrah came into existence on 29th Nov 1991. A Sikh Punjabi family became blessed on this day to have a kid like him in this family. Jasprit Bumrah’s cricket journey began in the first-class arena when he debuted for Gujarat in October 2013 against Vidarbha during the 2013–14 season. Renowned for his unorthodox right-arm fast-medium bowling style, Bumrah had earlier showcased his talent in the T20 format. His T20 debut against Maharashtra in the 2012–13 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy was a significant moment, especially when he played a crucial role in Gujarat’s title win. Bumrah’s standout performance, claiming figures of 3/14, notably secured victory for Gujarat against Punjab in the final.

This mistake allowed Fakhar Zaman to continue his innings, eventually leading to a match-winning century. In November 2017, Bumrah received a significant opportunity as he was named in India’s Test squad for the series against South Africa. His Test debut occurred on January 5, 2018, at Newlands in Cape Town. Making a mark, Bumrah’s talent as a Test bowler came to the fore during the 3rd test match of the India Tour of South Africa 2017-18 at Johannesburg, where he achieved his maiden five-wicket haul in Tests, recording figures of 5/54 from 18.5 overs.

July 12, 2022, witnessed another exceptional performance as Bumrah claimed figures of 6/19 in a One Day International match against England, marking India’s best figures against England and the third-best figures for India in ODIs.

However, his participation faced a setback when, on the eve of the South Africa series, Bumrah withdrew due to reported back pain, impacting his availability in the last series before the World Cup.

Later, on August 21, 2023, Bumrah was named in India’s squad for the 2023 Asia Cup, marking his debut in the series against Pakistan. But, unfortunately, the match was abandoned due to rain. Subsequently, Bumrah had to step back from the match against Nepal due to personal reasons, with Mohammed Shami taking his place in the lineup.
